Born in 1986, in Northeast Ohio, Dustin Nowlin is an American artist. Whose disciples included painting, assemblage, installation, film making, and traditional tattooing. As a painter he is know for his use of expressive color and allegorical storytelling influenced by spiritual iconography and non-western diaspora. Nowlin demonstrated extraordinary artistic ability at an early age, wining many awards and competitions, locally and nationally. Eventually, he was awarded a merit-based scholarship to the Columbus College Of Art and Design, where he studied briefly before leaving to pursue a non-traditional approach to artistic study.
